For PGR examiners travelling to a viva in their own vehicle, they will need a permit to park in any of the Egham campus car parks.  Our car parks are monitored by a vehicle registration plate recognition system.

To request a permit to park on campus, please do so at least 2 days beforehand by completing:

Please be aware that current members of Royal Holloway staff cannot claim the examination fee, but can claim travel expenses if the viva takes place at our Central London campus.
We are unable to pay the examination fee or expenses to Emeritus staff.

The current fee for non-Royal Holloway examiners is £265 (PhD) / £175 (MPhil)
