Wellbeing issues/support/emergency
During office hours (typically Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00) please visit the University help in an emergency pages for more information on the welfare and support the College can offer you.
Out of hours please contact Security on 01784 443063 for advice and support.
The NHS Website (National Health Service) and 111 services offers general advice and support over the telephone and through their web pages.
If you need urgent attention please dial 999 and if possible inform Security on 01784 443063 so that they can help the emergency services find you quickly.
The Samaritans provide emotional support over the telephone on 08457 909090 at any time of the day or night, all year round. The Samaritans are completely confidential.
Noise
If you are being disturbed by noise, please call security on 01784 443063. if your email relates to noise we will not reply to this email.
Maintenance
Our Maintenance service will only now be able to respond to urgent matters and emergencies - they will attend by making an appointment with you in order to comply with Home requirement instructions and to maintain the safety of the flat members and the staff attending. If your message refers to maintenance we will not respond.
Lockouts
If you have locked yourself out and have a mobile phone on your person, please call College Security on 01784 443063.
If you do not have your mobile phone on your person, please use the red phone which is located in many of our residential buildings, normally on the first-floor landing area.
For George Eliot Hall and Penrose Court, please use the red phone located in the George Eliot Centre main foyer entrance.
For Founder’s Hall, please visit the Security Office located at the East central entrance.
