On Tuesday (3 June), our Student Life teams came together to celebrate the amazing contributions of their student staff and athletes at the first ever Student Life Awards. The awards celebrated the outstanding contributions of groups and individuals across teams including Royal Holloway Sport, Hall Life, and Wellbeing and Neurodiversity.

Speaking at the event, Helen Groenendaal, Director of Student Life, commented:

“We valued the opportunity to say thank you for the hard work and effort that our student teams have contributed to life at Royal Holloway.  It is inspiring to see what our students are able to contribute and how they balance this against their studies and other personal commitments.  The life of a student can be incredibly challenging and we want them to recognise how well they are doing by committing to these roles and developing transferrable skills for life after university”.

A huge congratulations to the winners and everyone helping to foster an inclusive, respectful and thriving environment across our campuses.
