Printing
Royal Holloway offers students three methods of sending print jobs to the shared printers on our Egham campus:
What is Mobile Print?
Mobile Print allows you to print your documents using Royal Holloway's shared printers. You can upload the files you need to print, review the cost, and preview it before collecting it from a shared printer on campus.
What you will need:
-
Using your chosen browser go to the link below (we recommend adding this as a favourite for future use).

-
Enter your Royal Holloway username and password (username is in the format abcd123). Please visit the IT Services intranet for more information about usernames and formats.
-
You are now at the printing homepage.
The homepage shows My Printing – Job List which lists files waiting to be printed. You can also open Activity to see what you printed before.
Check your current balance in My Funds at the bottom of the page.
For instructions on how to top up your printing funds please visit the IT Services intranet.
-
To request a new print, click the Upload button.
-
You can only upload files saved in the following formats. If you need to print a different file type, then you must convert the file to one of these formats before using Mobile Print.

-
After uploading a file, you can review the expected cost, change the Print options and preview the print. The document is now ready to be collected from one of the shared printers on campus. You can delete from your list if you decide not to print it.
If you do not collect the print within 24 hours, it will be deleted automatically.
-
Visit one of the shared printers on campus to collect the print you have uploaded.
Can I print from my own device?
Yes, you can print from your personal laptop or desktop machine.
